IL Section ASCE UESI/EWRI Presentation “Bringing Lake Michigan Water to Joliet” SAVE THE DATE

The City of Joliet and five communities are in the process of forming the Grand Prairie Water Commission. The Commission will serve approximately 300,000 people. The Commission will be purchasing water from the City of Chicago and transporting it over 35 miles. The presentation will share the steps required to utilize Lake Michigan water and the challenges faced in delivering the project.
