The 2024 IS-ASCE Scholarship Application is now open! With $17,500 available from our 12 offered scholarships we strongly encourage any qualifying IIT, NU and UIC students to apply.
In-person information sessions with representatives from our 6 Institutes concerning the scholarships have been scheduled with the IIT, NU and UIC student chapters in early February. These sessions are a great opportunity to engage with our Institutes Practicing Engineers so be on the lookout for more details to come concerning where on campus these sessions will take place.
We will have representatives from each of our technical institutes including Transportation & Development, Environmental & Water Resources, Geotechnical, Structural, Construction and Utility Engineering & Surveying. A Q&A panel session will be held to cover a variety of topics that you may have questions about: how to make your resume stand out, how valuable is a master’s degree, what do employers look for in a new college graduate, what are the required soft skills of being an engineer, and how to create value for yourself in your career. Besides all that, just come hang out with us for an hour and eat some free food!
