IIT, NU, UIC Students
The ASCE-IL Student Outreach Committee would like to invite Section’s collegiate members (IIT,NU, UIC) to apply for participation in our 2019-2020 mentor-protege program. Please view the student protege application for more information, and know that applications will be due by October 14, 2019, and should be emailed to stoutcommittee@gmail.com. Mentor/Protégé pairs will be announced on November 4, 2019, and mentor/protégé pairs will be matched based on best fit of interests/career alignment. The aim of this initiative is to provide students with direct access to current professionals in their field of interests for career, professional, and personal development, as well as promoting social networking.
Professionals
The ASCE-IL Student Outreach Committee would like to invite any interested professionals in becoming an ASCE Professional Mentor for 2019-2020. We are looking for motivated and committed individuals willing to serve as a mentor for students from either the Illinois Institute of Technology, Northwestern University, or the University of Illinois at Chicago. Mentor/Protégé pairs will be announced on November 4, 2019, and mentor/protégé pairs will be matched based on best fit of interests/career alignment.
